      BAIC Motor Powertrain Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary company of BAIC Motor. was established on August 6, 2009. Its registered capital is around 1.4 billion RMB. The base of BAIC Powertrain is located in Tongzhou Economic Development District, 10 kilometers away from sub-center of Beijing. The base consists of Research and Development Center (R & D), Engine Plant and Transmission Plant, which covers a total area of 1000 mu.
       As a powertrain platform specialized for passenger vehicles of BAIC GROUP, it is in charge of planning, implementation and management of Beijing self-owned brand for powertrain products, including engine and transmission R & D, manufacturing and marketing. Nowadays, BAIC Motor Powertrain has 4 series of engines, and 4 series of transmissions, which include more than 30 kinds of products.
       BAIC Motor Powertrain always have cooperation with several famous international engine research institutions. During the cooperation process, we continue to focus on the personnel training and improve the self R&D capabilities.
