· Joined Unilever as the firs batch of MT, I was one of the most luckiest, if I may say. In the past 9+ years, I've recieved a lot of coaching and caring, in my both professional and personal lifes, from the company. And as a member of the big Unilever family, I experienced all the 'growing pains' and also celebrated the successes achieved, altogether.

· Life is a journey, a process of self-discovery. It continuously brings us face with ourselves and shows how we fit in the world.…in campus and in company…with Comfort and with Cornetto…in Asia and in Europe… I am realizing what I am interested in and what I am suitable for, or the most simple but the most complicated question “who I am”.
· It is so fabulous that I have been in Unilever for more than 8 years, change from 3 different business units, rotate among 3 different brand groups, experience from management trainee to supervisor to assistant manager to manager to senior manger, I am still here. It is not the plan on my wall or the idea in my mind, but the reason that I just love the journey in this company.

· I still remember how I hesitated a year ago while standing on the crossroad of senior year, and I still feel excited now as a member of Unilever family – because I have chosen a career, not just a job. So what’s the difference between a job and a career? A job is just a tool to feed you, but cannot take you anywhere. A career, on the other hand, is a fast track for your growth, and it will definitely create excellence. As a freshman in Unilever, I have experienced real jobs linked to business goals from day one. In less than a month I have been to nearly every part of a new city, met numerous strangers and formed a basic vision of our business. The real job exposure helps me to transfer from a student to a professional in the shortest time, while the tips and guide from my mentor and colleagues deepen my insights. Through out the whole program I will rotate in different functions and work with talented colleagues who are not satisfied with just OK. We need to be excellent – I guess this is what “career” all about. So, are you ready for starting a CAREER in Unilever?

· In Laundry China team, big big bosses called GCLT (Global Category Leadership Team) come to meet once a year. During this one week visit, there is always one night that you can have dinner in a fatastic restaurant sitting at the same table with them. In my lucky 13 months in the team, I experienced twice of this.
· At the first time, I sit next to one of the big bosses who's a trainee in Unilever 40 years ago - a funny old man, passionate, intellegent and extremely talktive. He's been telling stories through out the dinner from fighting against crocodiles in tropical rain forest to being scared by 400 people standing out of the office building bowing to him in Janpan. I was so impressed by those exciting adventures, amasing experience and all sorts of jokes all over the world that I've never heard about. But at the end of the day, I spoke to myself that he must be always telling these particular stories to younger generations through his life.
· The next year, what's the coincidence was I sit with this guy again. You won't be suprised that this story guy was again telling stories. So I was carefully listening to him and very mean to wait for a familiar story so that I would be able to tell "Hey, you've told this to me last year!"
· But guess what, among the dozens of stories he told that night, none of them repeated the ones from last year!!
· I was so shocked by such a person who's full of stories. And after that I told myself that this was the type of person that I would like to be.
· Therefore I felt so grateful and excited when I got the chance to join the Unilever Future Leader Programme and move to Unilever Asia to be further trained and to explore myself on job. China to Singapore, OMO to Clear, I believe my journey has just begun.
