As one of the world’s largest and most complex industrial organizations, International Paper boasts approximately 150 production facilities around the globe. Each facility has been designed to give IP flexible, top-of-the-line manufacturing capacity - capacity that can respond in a time-sensitive fashion to the market’s changing conditions. But state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and processes are only part of our equation for success. The other component, the people who drive our production, is our most important factor.

Engineers work at the heart of our business - managing people, processes and facility assets. Engineers are involved with the design of new and efficient technologies, with problem solving and troubleshooting, and with the enhancement of our product lines. One of our corporate strategic goals is to continually strengthen our company’s technical expertise. One way to realize this is through the Manufacturing Associates Program (MAP) for recent engineering graduates hired as technical professionals. We Grow Our Own This program covers two years and provides you with company orientation, specialized technical and manufacturing training, counseling and evaluation. After you’ve completed the TCP, you’ll continue to work with the facility management team to develop and enhance your technical competencies.

Position 1 : Customer Service Trainee

Job Description

  • Provide superior service and information to customers regarding orders received, job specifications, new job sampling delivery, inventory control, shipping schedule, complaints timely handling.

As a member of our Logistics Team, you will be engaged in a variety of activities, such as review sales notification for policy adherence and place into production; communicate with Sourcing Team to ensure production and shipping are going as scheduled and respond to all e-mails and faxes in a thorough and timely manner; communicate with sales, accounting internally and customers, carriers outside to balance the shipping status with the payment if necessary.
