Mitsui O.S.K. Lines is one of the world's largest multi-modals shipping companies, providing customers with integrated logistics and diversified ocean transportation service, with a network shuttling between the 5 Continents.

MOL now operates more than 600 vessels (more than 40 million deadweight tons) for various shipping fields, like containership, bulk carries, tankers, LNG carries, car carries and passenger ships. Our annual consolidated revenue is around US$ 10 billion and number of employee is around 7,400 in all over the world.


MOL (China) CO. Ltd, with headquarters in Shanghai, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui O.S.K. Line Limited in Tokyo, Japan, a public company listed on the Japanese and German (Frankfurt) Stock Exchange. Now the transportation services in Chins include liner services comprising with various routes, bulk services, car carrier services, tanker services, non-marine total logistics service, etc.

Since the establishment of MOL (China) Co.Ltd. In 1995, MOL has established a good presence in China supported by a network of 28 branches and representative offices with some 400 national staff located in key coastal ports and cities. Ports of coverage included Qingdao, Dalian, Tianjin, Shanghai, Ningbo, Wuhan, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Guangzhou, etc.

China becomes the most important market for the shipping business and MOL strengthen its presence in China by increasing office network and achieves various long-term contracts with Chinese big customers.
